However, you need to respect your reader along the way. Pushing too hard shows your insecurity. It only exposes the ugly side of your desperate motive.
Yes, as a writer you are the master of your topic. But it doesn’t means that you are more superior. As far as humanity is concern, you, me and your reader are equally special. Therefore the element of respect towards one another is vastly important.
Your objective with your persuasive writing is to persuade your reader to take the very action you want. You are not doing this to manipulate her.
