Fear of grammatical error is one of major writer’s block. Why it should not be anymore

Q: Why you called it your eBook persuasive writing when it is already written? Why not persuasive written eBook?
A: Why you called a completely built building, building? Why not call it Built?

There is no point argue about this. Try to ask your English Teacher, surely she can explain in few pages.

That is not what I’m trying to write here.

My point is: Good grammar is always good. But that should not be an excuse for not writing at all.

I always hear my friends say “Yeah, I will write my book (or eBook. Whatever), after improving my grammar… therefore… ” The list of excuses alone can become one eBook entitled “100 Over Reasons Why I Will Not Write My eBook in 30 Years.”

Grammatical error is one of great grandfathers of writer’s block. As any other fear, it is always bigger than life.

In fact there is nothing wrong with good grammar. The reverse is also true.

There is nothing wrong with a little bit flaws in grammar. Just don’t make a major grammatical error.

Your reader is not really interested in grammar. It is the useful content that matter to them.

I bought dozens of eBooks. I never bother to check their grammar. That is not the reason why I bought them. I bought them for answer to my immediate problem. I just need to know how that eBook will help to solve my problem.

The same thing apply to other people who buy eBooks. They want answer. Not grammar.
Therefore, you should focus more on your content. Make sure that the contents of your eBook are crystal clear. It contains exactly what you want to tell your reader. Straight to the point. Bull Eyes. No flowery cornering here and there. Straight line.

With that in mind you will have a better confidence in authoring your persuasive writing eBook. Accept wholeheartedly that your writing style is unique. Consistency in writing style will bring you to a new standpoint. That, in return will build your credibility.

So, go ahead. Write something today. Something persuasive, of course.

P/S. I love that building. Still wonder why they called it “building”. Not “Built”
